At the new Windows Security prompt, type in the current password and check the Remember my credentials box.Close the Control Panel and restart Outlook.
Respond YES to the prompt asking if you are sure you want to delete this Generic credential from Windows Vault.At the bottom of the expanded entry, click the link labeled Remove from vault.Click the pull-down to the right of the entry to expand it. In the Generic Credentials section, locate the Microsoft Outlook entry.Open the Credential Manager in the Windows Control Panel.If this doesn't resolve the issue, continue with the troubleshooting steps below. However, this is a very unsophisticated setup, just a simple network and an inexpensive router with default setup. Microsoft support are suggesting we have 'network problems'.
